Vegan Chocolate-Chia Pudding that Tastes Amazing and is Good for you

This delicious chocolate chia pudding is easy to make, and an absolute must for dessert. Beware that if you are making the almond milk yourself, you need to calculate 8 hours for the soaking of the almonds! If you don’t want to wait that long, just skip the water and almonds and buy some almond milk at your next grocery store.

200ml water

3 tablespoons almonds

1 tablespoon cocoa powder

1/2 tablespoon honey or agave syrup

2 tablespoons chia seeds

decoration: goji berries, bananas, dried apricots, whatever you want! 🙂

Almond Milk:

Soak the 3 tablespoons of almonds in water (room temperature) for about 8 hours.

Next, peel the almonds to get rid of the brown skin and leave behind just the white.

Once you peeled all the almonds add them to the 200ml of water. Pour it all into your blender and blend until it’s nice and smooth. When you have a nice and smooth white mass you can stop the mixer and pour it all through a sieve. You want to get rid of the remaining bits of almond that are still in the almond milk. Take a spoon to help you really squeeze out every last bit of the milk. Aaaand you’re done! You just made your own almond milk 🙂

Add the cocoa powder and honey/agave syrup to the almond milk and stir well.

Now that your mixture is smooth, slowly add the chia seeds while stirring.

Now go ahead and put your pre-pudding into your fridge for 1 to 8 hours (depending on how much time you have and the consistency you want it to have).

Once you take it out, you can decorate it with goji berries, bananas, dried apricots, or whatever else you’d like!

Get creative and share your results!

Enjoy this delicious and healthy pudding!
